Mobile marketing trailer: stage, solar and generator, turnkey

Specification, design, build management and fit-out of a tandem-axle marketing trailer with a 16 ft fold-out stage for a Canadian university. One contract, one point of contact, delivered ready to tow.

Plan-view render of the trailer interior and stage layout
Plan-view render of the interior and stage layout used to settle the fit-out with the client before the trailer was ordered.

The job

A university marketing department wanted a trailer it could tow to campuses, conferences and community events, open up in twenty minutes, and run a stage show off-grid. They had a wish list, a budget and a date. They didn't have a spec, a builder, or anyone to own the electrical, solar and generator integration.

We wrote the specification, modelled the layout so the client could walk through it before anything was ordered, selected and managed a trailer manufacturer for the shell, and designed the power system: a solar array, battery bank and shore-power tie-in, with a dual-fuel inverter generator in a dedicated compartment fed from a below-deck gasoline tank with exterior fill and vent. We handled the add-on scope as it came, including the solar package that was quoted and accepted mid-project.

Fit-out, delivery and handover are ours. The client gets one invoice stream, one schedule, and one phone number.
